Loving Number 7....

Working in the city does strange things to a girl geek. It might start of slowly like wearing a skirt once a month, but it alters you. This weekend I had a hankering for some nail varnish, and I have been loving Boots' No. 7 shades for a while now. The striking colours, and long lasting finish; have made them a favourite of mine. So after I went to the gym, I toddled of to Boots in Chelmsford with my £5 voucher for No. 7 and Ruby and Millie products.
The inner geek in me was immeadiately drawn to a nail varnish that changes colours when coated with clear varnish. This is nail varnish is perfect to recreate the look from Total Recall where the receptionist in it changed her nail colour at whim.

I am pretty pleased with the result, even though I haven't tried the alternative colour which is pinkish brown.
I do think the gunmetal grey is hot though, and is increasing my city chic points. Anyway I'll stop babbling.... have a look....

MAC + Hello Kitty = WIN!!!!!!!!

I'm so late getting a whiff of this, but I have many friends who would love this.
Hello Kitty is a staple for all those who strive for Kawaii, and this collection is just to add that little bit of cute you require for your makeup bag.

This al-encompassing collection, has some interesting colours, I can see very creamy bright eye shadows, and blushes which not only dont look cool, they look great quality too.

The collection unfortunately disppeared from MAC online shop but you can get it from various online retailers.
Its cool to see the more infantile side of high end makeup, and I will be bagging a few parts of the collection, if only as an add-on to my bags. This an affordable twist combining MAC and an obsession to all things Kawaii which I think should be accessible for people of all ages.

BeLATEd New Years Resolution

Well It is Still January, and I know by now people have probably given up on their resolutions, but I have decided to take mine up. I have taken up a gym membership with Fitness First. The reasoning behind this : My new office is full of gym heads, they work out like every day; yes I mean every day.
I needed to find a way to bond with people I have little common interests with (cricket and PC issues are not my thing). So I have no fitness, I can maybe jog for around 100m, so this will be fun. I went to the NIKE store and I have stocked up with gym wear, that will probably not reduce the size of my ass. I am hoping that I can keep this up, and it will change the look of my body because the last year I have REALLY let myself go. From size 12 to size 18 is a little bit painful I need my clothes to fit well again, and I'm getting to the stage I should be getting ready to get to my life weight.
If anyone has any tips for things to do in the gym, or even where I should start please leave me a comment.

Tinted Garnier Eye Roll-on

This may be this years paupers YSL touche eclat; Garnier's new 'Anti-dark circles roll on is going to flyof the shelves. It only comes in fair, and medium tones but if this is a big a deal as I think it will be, I am sure there will be an extension for black skin tones.
It will illuminate you under eye area while refreshing the area with the caffeine it is infused with.
This allows anyone to easily apply some concealer to their eye area.
Boots is selling it for £9.99 which is a big price-cut from YSL tocuh eclat's £24 price tag. Boots is also offering a weekend shoping trip for 2 in Paris to celebrate its launch, so if you are interested go here.
I am very excited about this product and can't wait to see it in action. If anyone hasused this product please give me some ideas on how it fairs.

New Project Runway.... Faint.

GASP!!! cant wait for Tim, I have seen some of the designers threads, all I say is hmmmm….. this will be intresting.
I can't watch it, until I get out of this shitty hotel, did get get some snippets of what it was like though.

So here are some designs and the finished creations from some of the designers.

The judges loved it…. I didn’t; it made the model look way too masculine.

Ok can’t really start of without talking about people suffering in Haiti. I don’t want people to forget that although charity starts at home, we are all here and even though rush hour on the tube makes us not feel like it; we are all a family. So give what you can. Remember there is always karma too :)

Please contact the DEC to make donations big and small.
